COMPANY HISTORY

1985	Astore Africa started trading in Cape Town as a small importer of specialised plastic fittings from Astore Valves and Fittings based in Italy
1991	Factory started manufacturing in 1991
1996	Small Business Development Corporation became a shareholder of Astore Africa
1996	Signed agency agreement with Agru
1998	The linings division started, which supplies quality linings to Southern Africa
1999	A central warehouse was opened to service the branches and improve stock availability
1999	Unidelta stock was brought in and Astore has represented Unidelta ever since
2001	Three BBBEE companies were started to represent Astore Africa
2002	East London branch was opened, another BBBEE accredited company
2003	Obtained ISO 9001 (2000) accreditation
2004	Opened the eighth branch in Pretoria
2007	Sales branch in Roodepoort opened, now the ninth branch in South Africa
2008	Company purchased by Hudaco Trading (Pty) Ltd
2009	Level 3 BBBEE
2010	Move to Corporate Head Office
