| This Tilapia
Breeding facility was built
utilising several kilometres of 200,
160, 110 and 50mm pipe including
thousands of PVC valves and
fittings. Due to the light-weight
non-corrosive and user friendly
properties of PVC it was the obvious
choice of materials for
construction.
The projected lifespan of the
materials used are in the region of
50 years but may even reach 100
years if the pipe is not stressed
due to water pressure and exposure
to the elements.
